Clearing Sky is a poem about the sun punching through a grey and bleary sky one weekend morning.
The word that gave me the most trouble in this poem was acylation which virtually had no good way to tie into an analogy or metaphor.
Clearing Sky
Not some priceless Monet impression
apathy of a debris filled grey sky
the disconnected wallow in the weekend
Sun exerting a seemingly spiritual pressure
strong reaction not derived from acylation
oligarch nexus royalty over grateful populace
Skulduggery of the light and heat
as white waves its own shaded flag
and the virtuous clarity shines brighter
